Shahmir is a former Co-founder and CEO of Travly – a ride-hailing startup that helped shape the on-demand transportation space of Pakistan along with tech giants such as Careem and Uber. One of the first to successfully close a seed round of $200,000 from Pakistani investors. He is an alumnus of Plan9, PlanX, and GES+. He is also the winner of National Mobile App Competition 2016 and a key member in the Mozilla community who played an integral role in nurturing it’s growth in Pakistan. Currently, he’s working on a mobile marketplace for home-cooked meals to tap into Pakistan’s $250 million food delivery and takeaway market.
Travly, an idea that was conceived by a group of final year students at Beaconhouse National University tried their luck at Pakistan’s Largest Tech Incubator, Plan9 in 2013. A rickshaw-hailing platform that connects riders with nearby available drivers for a ride that is safe, convenient and affordable.
