Blecan is a smart point-of-sale system with proximity interactions between users and merchants establishing contextual user-experience like automated walk-in ticketing, walk-out payments, etc. The startup has built a simultaneous payment processing mechanism which can replace traditional one-to-one payment mechanisms like card swiping machines and qr-code-based payments. Blecan is incubated at GUSEC and has received a $25000 grant from the local government.
