Ramla Qureshi is a Fulbright scholar, currently pursuing her PhD in Structural & Earthquake Engineering at the State University of New York. She likes to identify as a “Scholar-activist”, and is paving the way for technical advancement of women in science, technology, engineering & math. Her organization, WEP, works to realize these goals, providing a parallel college experience via school outreach, hands-on industry training, student-industry linkage; and multiple seminars and conferences surrounding advancement of women in STEM fields.
