Irfan founded an independent peace-building research project, The Kashmir Journal, which was developed from important discussion forums on ‘Kashmir’ during his time in university. He works as an independent peace-building researcher, exploring the scope of a possible resolution to the decades-old Kashmir crisis in South Asia. Kashmir Journal works on ground-level research and documenting observed political, social & economic perspectives of Kashmir.
