Anoop Kumar is an IT professional working in the SF Bay Area. He possesses a degree in mechanical engineering and a MBA. His many years of volunteer work and learning to serve has been related to his affiliation with All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP) and Hindu Community Institute ( HCI). He has authored books on Hindu tradition and performs Purohit services for the community.

After completing the inaugural CHT graduate certificate course at HCI, he found it compelling to achieve chaplaincy credentials to serve the greater community as a Hindu Inter-religious chaplain. He was awarded the Motwani Jadeja Foundation Hindu Chaplaincy fellowship for the ICP course at GTU. He sees chaplaincy as the perfect life-time engagement for community service and self enlightenment.
